1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, at room temperature
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup flour

Combine ingredients with a pastry blender until they hold together. Divide in half and roll out on a floured surface. Makes two 8-inch pie shells.

Note: If the dough seems too sticky, add more flour as needed.

If you want you can roll it into one thick crust; trim any excess and roll it out and bake it for a little snack (add jelly, cinnamon & sugar, etc). We used a thicker version for the Pear Crumble Pie.

Micah suggests 1 1/2 cups flour to make it a little less sticky and to get a little more crust.
