That depends to some eexntt what you put into it. If you used yogurt or sour cream, then you need to consult the container you took that from. It also depends on how quickly you packaged it how you packaged it. If you put the whole big bowl out for dinner and it was out in the warm dining room for an hour or so as your bottled stuff would have been, then it is time for it to go, no matter how much is left.I do not like to keep homemade salad dressings of any sort more than a few days, possibly a week for oil-based dressings. The commercial varieties last longer than homemade because they are loaded with preservatives.
