3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup milk
Dash salt
Dash ground black pepper
Pinch grated lemon rind
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Gradually blend milk into mayonnaise in saucepan. Add salt and pepper. Cook over low heat until thickened; stirring occasionally. Stir in lemon rind and juice. Serve over vegetables.
