1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pint oysters
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup cracker meal, dry bread crumbs or Panko

Stir together flour, salt and pepper. Coat oysters with flour mixture; dip into beaten eggs, then coat with cracker meal. Fry in 1/8-inch melted butter or margarine over medium heat about 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
